Voyager Torture features Vincent reviewing an episode of Star Trek Voyager that he’s seen for the first time and Chris Piers creating a drawing based solely on Vincent’s review and never having seen the show himself.
The USS Voyager detects a huge explosion that destroys an entire civilization. The crew goes down to now dead planet, since they have absolutely nothing better to do. They realize that the now dead people on the planet were using some super dangerous stuff to run everything. Then for some magical reason Tom Paris and Captain Janeway are pulled back in time before the explosion.
Oh and Kes had a vision of the explosion. Neelix acts like an asshole to her about it.
There’s a really annoying kid that I hope dies that doesn’t. Some guys that are anti-the dangerous fuel source kidnap Paris and Janeway and are going to help them break into a power plant and do… something to show everyone just how dangerous this stuff is. Janeway thinks that what these dudes are up to is the cause of the explosion. They are fighting for a good cause, but they’re total a-holes about it so they must be the reason! But surprise it’s the rescue attempt by the Voyager team in the future that’s causing the problem. They’re accidentally putting a big old hole in time and space in the power plant. This is a totally unexpected turn of events. So here we have one hell of a causality loop and I’m sure they tried to explain it, but I got lost in a total sea of technobabble.
Somehow they stop all the nonsense without everyone blowing up in the past, get home, and time is reset so nobody remembers anything about what happened. I wish I could forget this episode that way.

Paris (mostly for being an ass to the kid)
