Today, I have a companion piece to the earlier post about a Hoth diorama. Building dioramas out of toys is time-consuming if you want to do it right. Now imagine building it all from a smaller unit. The previous article focused on the battle on the snow, but this one focuses a bit more on the Rebel’s base.
This man built both Hoth and Endor dioramas brick by brick. His AT-AT is custom, much larger than the one LEGO offers, so as to keep everything in minifig scale. The results are pretty impressive. If you’d like to see more hi-res photos of his work aside from Star Wars or additional photos, check out brickplumber’s Flickr account.
The results only get more impressive. Read on to see the rest!
And now, here is his Endor diorama. This was built on 114 Lego baseplates. It was a featured attraction at last year’s Star Wars Celebration. If you visit his Flickr account to really dive in deep, you can find some of the bizarre Easter Eggs he hides in his dioramas including a naked Stormtrooper frolicking in the woods, a Predator, and a Hoth pizzeria.
