Rocket from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie

This weekend, you may plan on seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. If you do, or you have, you’ll love Rocket Raccoon. Unfortunately, the creator of Rocket, Bill Mantlo, was involved in a hit and run car accident back in 1992 and has very expensive medical bills. The good news is we can all help.

I don’t think it’s asking much to give a small amount back to the guy who created a character we all get so much enjoyment out of. If you simply skipped the popcorn and gave that to Bill? Well, then you’re the hero in my opinion.

Enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy. I did. Great movie. But please consider helping one of the creators who could use your help. Even just a few dollars. Bill wrote for Hulk, Spider-Man and more through the 70s and 80s, creating dozens of characters for Marvel. He’s best known for writing Micronauts and Rom, Space Knight.
