Micheal Keaton Suits Up Again: Micheal Keaton is such an interesting dude and actor. That’s why Birdman seems like the perfect movie for Keaton. It’s about a guy who was in a superhero flick (how meta), is down on his luck, and he’s going crazy. Sadly, this isn’t the live action Harvey Birdman movie your were looking for.
Sin City 2: I forgot how much I liked Sin City. Watching this trailer made me realize how much I liked that one and if I liked that movie, I might like this one. Funny how that works, huh? Overall the second trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For seems pretty sweet, though there’s just something… off. Maybe because it seems like there’s a more cohesive story. I’m not sure.
Days of Future Sentinels: Here’s other prototype Sentinels that could have been in X-Men: Days of Future Past. I think I like some of them a lot more than what made the final cut.
Harrison Ford Hurt: From the small news that became super big department, Harrison Ford hurt his ankle filming Star Wars Episode 7.
Star Trek on TV: There’s a big rumor going around that Star Trek will return to TV in the form of a Netflix series. Hey, I’m down with that. I’m guessing that it would take place in the JJ Abramsverse, due to corporate synergy. Unless they can save a bunch of money by reusing old series props. Does Paramount have all the Voyager stuff laying around still?
Meet the New Kingpin: Last week we reported that some guy was cast as Daredevil in the upcoming Netflix Daredevil series. This week it was revealed that Vincent D’Onofrio has been cast as Kingpin. So I guess Daredevil is facing the Kingpin again! Doesn’t he fight anyone else? Also, they’re going big guy over super fat guy. Poor super fat actors stiffed again.
Video Game Stuff
Star Wars Battlefront: A couple of the best Star Wars games were Star Wars: Battlefront 1 and 2. During the last e3 they showed off a bit of the new version in development and Holy crap, I need to buy an Xbox One or PS4 to play this thing.
Cthulhu Kickstarter: There’s a Kickstarter going for some Call of Cthulhu retro type action figures. As much as I like that mythos, I had the obsession with Cthulhu himself. I really like the other figures, especially that cultist. Unfortunatly, I really don’t like having to buy stuff through Kickstarter. Hopefully it goes through and I can pick one of these up at a comic shop or something someday.
Comic Book Stuff
Working Out Marvel Style: I started working out again after three months of being a slug. I found the Mighty Marvel Strength and Fitness Book to be some nice inspiration. Like Silver Surfer, I too will triumph over human lethargy!
